BLOCK THE NOISES FROM THE DEVIL
I once went to two funerals in a span of one year where it was very emotional. I remember after that, I sat down and I was doing my normal Motivations, I thought to myself How Short Life is. The two people had died at the age of 40-50. Maybe if someone asked them when they were alive, they would say that they would like to die at 90 or 100. But Death Comes So Suddenly, no one knows when the time will come! I later saw a meme while I was scrolling through my phone, a picture of children who looked like they were living in extreme poverty conditions but in the picture they were expressing genuine happiness. They were laughing so hard until one of them had what looked like Tears Of Joy running down his face. Then I thought to myself, how many people are better off than these kids but are very unhappy because of the torture that goes on in their heads?
Worry and Stress in life in very dangerous. These traits of life came from the Devil himself. This is a state where one thinks that there is something that is lacking. When the truth of the matter is, there is really nothing that is lacking in their lives. Look at what happened in The Garden of Eden, the first time where the devil is introduced in the Bible. The Bible says that the devil who was more cunning than any other beast of the field came in form of a snake and found Eve. Then He said to her, “Hath God said, that you should Not Eat From Any Tree in the Garden?” Then Eve replied, “No, He said that we should eat from any tree in the garden except from that tree right there (pointing at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil). If we eat from that tree we will surely die. And the devil now introduces Lack which is the Main Cause of Worry and Stress for the first time. He says, that is not true, God knows that when you eat of that tree, you shall be like Him, knowing the difference between Good and Evil. The lack here is, Adam and Eve were not already like God and they should desire to be already like God.
But one funny thing about this story is the lack introduced by the devil was not really there. Genesis 1:26, God Himself says, “And now let us make man in our own image and likeness, and They Will Be Like Us. So Adam and Eve were already like God. It is only that the devil had done what Paul told us in 2 Corinthians 4:4, blinding the minds of those who do not believe, so that they do not see the light of the glorious gospel (Good News) shinning on them. Imagine! a light shinning on them, but they still do not see, because they Do Not Believe. Eve did not believe that she was already like God and that is why she ate the forbidden fruit.
Now let us meditate for a minute. When God Created Adam and Eve, He created them on the last day after He had finished creating everything else that they would need for all their lifetime. Think about that. Can we go deeper? If Adam and Eve had not sinned, this means that we would all be in The Garden of Eden and not one of us would have died! The millions of generations that exist, from Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, all the way to after Christ was born. All of us would have been there just enjoying life as God visits us in the cool of the day. No one would have ever gone to school to provide for himself. God had already provided everything.
