Go in through the narrow gate, because the gate to hell is wide and the road that leads to it is easy and there are many who travel (Mathew 7:13). But the gate to life is narrow and the way that leads to it is hard and there are few people who find it.
The war begins when you find the narrow gate. Listen closely, the only race that one needs to run in this life is the race to eternal life.  if the question of where one wants to spend his or her eternity is asked to random people, no one will say that they want to go to hell; everyone desires to go to hell. However, we do pay less attention to the time we will die and the fact that one day we will have to die.

In the beginning God created the world, meaning that this world is existing because of God. He breathed life-giving breath into man so that he began to live meaning all of us exist because of Him. He is the very reason why we live. (Isaiah 43:7) They are my own people and I created them to bring me glory.

The devil corrupts the minds of men in every way to make them avoid living for the only purpose they were created for. He will send worldly pleasures that seem sweet and cause anyone to sin because he knows that his time is short. Sin is strong because it makes one thinks that he or she is far away from God, he or she will not be able to perceive the true nature of God in such state. This is what is called the corruption of the mind. And it is the devil’s work to corrupt them. When you read Romans 1, you will be able to see how the corruption came. That the people’s minds were very stubborn. They were dis-aligned from the word of God. After a while of God’s trial to save them, He gave them over to a reprobate or unprincipled mind such that human beings could not distinguish anymore between right and wrong. But Jesus came to reverse this curse, by being the very curse for us. It says that He bore our sins yet He was in right mind with God. And Paul the Apostle says let this mind be in you that was also in Christ. Now we are of the incorruptible seed. The seed that knows no sin.
