Now listen how God’s love is, He says in Isaiah 43:4 I will give up whole nations to save your life because you are precious to me and because I love you and give you honor. He says you are precious to me, I made you in my own image and nothing can ever be able to separate you from my love (Romans 8:38-39).
The Bible clearly indicates that the love of God is beyond human comprehension. God does not have love; God is love, that is His very nature. He does not try to love us rather He cannot help but love us. That is why no matter how much one has sinned, he or she has not lost even a single portion of God’s love; God still loves him or her the same.
Jesus clearly showed this with the parable of the prodigal son, where the son asked his father for his inheritance and went and squandered all the money with pleasure. When all his money was finished and had begun to suffer to a point of eating with the pigs, he remembered that his father was still
alive and decided to go back home and apologize. Oblivious to what he anticipated, his father welcomed him home and even threw him a party to celebrate the return of his son (Luke 15:11-32).
(Isaiah 1:18) God says and now let us settle the matter, you are stained red with sin but I will wash you white as snow. (Isaiah 43:25) Yet I am God who forgives sins, I do this because of who I am, I will not hold your sins against you.
So now you have known the truth and realized that you have freedom; what do you do to maintain the freedom that Jesus Christ died to obtain for you? Remember the devil is always very crafty. He knows the perfect time to strike and when to leave its prey for another day. He will still come up with his tricky but empty suggestions. This is where it gets tricky to a believer. You have to understand and have the wisdom of life. That is, know that you might fall in the trap a couple of times because maybe it was the result of a habit but this time it will not be normal as it used to be; there will always be a conscience of awareness that you did something contrary to the word of God. So, the battle is to maintain the win and the knowledge that though you missed it, you are still the righteousness of God.
This battle won’t take too long because the Bible says that God is always constantly working in you to give you the desire and the power to do that which pleases Him (Philippians 2:13). After some time, the Bible says that the devil will flee away from you as a result of this resistance (James 4:7). Its important to notice that fleeing is a speed between running and flying and it means running with fear. That is the very speed that the devil will move from you because he has now found someone who has realized the very presence of the Holy Spirit that is in him or her and such a person he cannot stay close to nor devour. Greater is He who is in us than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
